As you may have seen i have been researching the Sell family(my mothers direct family)of Brent pelham.
It appears the Sells have lived in Brent Pelham since at least 1780 as i can trace my family directly back to John Sell,and Ann Sell who lived at Black Hall,with the rest of their family......
They all appeared to work as agricultural labourers,it seems that the family lived in the village from at least 1780 untill the 1930,s.
I believe that it is possible that,they go even further back than that,i would be gratefull if any body in the village has any further information concerning the Sells,or who they would have been working for,during this period...
I would also like to thank Ted for the information he has given me,and will try to keep you informed,if i find out any more information....
